The course is designed to give you the fundamental understanding of the core innovation of blockchain technology. With this core knowledge you can progress to further understand applications and use cases of this technology.

The course is divided into 4 sections:

1. An introduction to the core ideas behind blockchain including of p2p and distributed.
2. The Byzantine General's Problem--the essential issue that blockchains are set to solve.
3. The technical concepts needed for blockchains to achieve agreement on a shared truth: Hashing and Proof-of-Work.
4. A discussion about governance in a blockchain.

Each section has a video lecture, addition reading material, and a quiz.
